YEAR 1
STUDENTS IN THIS CATEGORY WILL BE IN OUR PRE-COMMUNION CLASSES.
All students coming to 2nd - 8th grade for their first year. They will be making their First Penance at the end of the year if they meet the Sacramental criteria.
In the Sacrament of Reconciliation the Church reminds us that we have the gift of conscience. It is the gift of right judgment. This gift is gradually formed from the very beginning of our lives. In our families we learn how to live and grow as member of the Catholic community.
In Religious Education classes, the Catechist and catechist’ aid help students to understand and live God’s Law of Love. Students will learn to do what is good and avoid what is wrong. As the Holy Spirit guides the students’ conscience, they will learn to listen. Through the gift of listening, students will be guided to make decisions to live as good Christians. AÑO 1
ESTUDIANTES EN ESTA CATEGORÍA ESTARÁN EN NUESTRAS CLASES DE
PRE-COMUNIÓN.
Todos los estudiantes que vengan por primera vez y estén en el 2do – 8vo grado. Ellos harán su Primera Penitencia a fin de año si ellos cubren las normas Sacramentales.
En el Sacramento de la Reconciliación, la Iglesia nos recuerda que tenemos el regalo de la conciencia. Este es el regalo/ don de un juicio correcto. Este don se va formando gradualmente desde el comienzo de nuestras vidas. En nuestras familias nosotros aprendemos a como vivir y a crecer como miembros de una comunidad Católica.
En las clases de Educación Religiosa, los Catequistas y Ayudantes ayudan a los estudiantes a entender y a vivir las leyes del Amor de Dios. Los estudiantes aprenderán a hacer lo que está bien y a evitar lo que está mal. Conforme el Espíritu Santo guía la conciencia de los estudiantes, ellos aprenderán a escuchar. Por medio del don de escuchar, los estudiantes serán guiados a tomar decisiones para vivir como buenos Cristianos. (“In Memory of Me” study of the Sacraments by Sadlier)

YEAR 2
STUDENTS IN OUR FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CLASSES:
Students in this category, grade 3rd - 8th, who made their First Penance and are continuing in their Sacramental Preparation and at the end of this year will receive their First Holy Communion if they meet the Sacramental criteria.
Jesus is who remains with us in the sacrament of the Eucharist. He is alive with us in a permanent and active relationship. He does not take us for granted, but offers to strengthen His relationship with each of us in the Eucharist we share together. In this sacrament of the Eucharist, we receive the flesh and blood of Jesus under the appearances of bread and wine. We are saved through the blood of the new Lamb of God who sacrificed Himself for us. (Sadlier)

AÑO 2
ESTUDIANTES EN NUESTRAS CLASES DE PRIMERA COMUNIÓN:
Los estudiantes en esta categoría, 3ro - 8vo grado, que hicieron su Primera Confesión y continúan en su Preparación Sacramental y al fin de año recibirán su Primera Comunión si cubren las normas Sacramentales.
Es Jesús quien permanece con nosotros en el sacramento de la Eucarística. Él está vivo en nosotros dentro de una relación permanente y activa. El no nos toma por merecidos, sino que nos ofrece reforzar su relación con cada uno de nosotros en la Eucaristía que compartimos juntos. En este sacramento de la Eucaristía, nosotros recibimos el cuerpo y la sangre de Jesús bajo la apariencia de pan y vino. Nosotros somos salvados por medio de la sangre del nuevo Cordero de Dios quien se sacrifico por nosotros. (Sadlier)
